What is Building Sand?
Building sand is a general-purpose soft sand with fine grain particles no greater than 2mm. It is normally yellow or dark red in colour.
What is building sand used for?
Building sand is most commonly used in brick laying but can also be used as a bedding, to make render, or ducting.
What is the bulk density of building sand?
1.44 tonne per m3 loose or 1.62 tonne per m3 compacted.
